Tiana Ohara is a 25-year-old guitarist and producer from Los Angeles, CA.

Tiana’s musical journey began when she picked up the guitar for the first time at age seven; there was an instant connection between the two.

From 2012 to 2016, Tiana attended the Music and Performing Arts Academy at Hamilton High School to further develop her musicianship. In 2014, She attended the California State Summer School for the Arts where she discovered her love for jazz and creating original music. She was awarded a Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artists Award at the end of the immersive arts program.

After high school, Tiana attended The New School in New York City for a year to study Jazz and Contemporary Music with an emphasis on jazz guitar performance. Along with diving into jazz harmony, she found her strong love for playing R&B music.

Tiana continues to follow her passion in Los Angeles and on the road with artists. She’s currently playing guitar live with Conan Gray. Although primarily a guitarist, she also plays other instruments including bass, piano, and percussion; she recently played bass on tour with boygenius. Since 2018, Tiana has played with several artists including boygenius, NIKI, UMI, Queen Naija, Raveena, Charlotte Day Wilson, Hope Tala, Rozzi, and Fatai. In addition to performing, she finds joy in writing and producing music. She has recorded guitar demos for a variety of brands including Fender, Guild, Ernie Ball Music Man, Cordoba, Harmony, and Orangewood.
